Tell us a little about yourself: I was born in Mesa AZ and raised in Tempe, AZ. I attended Tempe HS and Maricopa County Skill center where I learned to weld.
What is your job at UDA? Maintenance
Have you worked any other positions? No
What part of your job do you like the most? There is always something different to do. Never the same issue with a break down.
Before working at UDA did you have any interesting or unusual jobs? I moved to Dixon CA in my late teens and lived with my uncle. We worked the farms back then picking tomatoes and sugar beets for cannery.
What kinds of hobbies do you have outside work? I love working on restoring old vehicles. I have a 67 Chevy that I bought in 1976 that I am currently working on. What is one thing people may not know about you? My wedding reception was held at the Knights of Columbus which is now UDA’s parts shop/suite.
My wife Rita and I were married in 1979 and I started working at UDA in 1980.
If you were a superhero what powers would you have? Flying. I could fly to the top of the dome vs climbing the stairs.
If you had a warning label what would yours say? Caution- hard at work – do not disturb .
